Our fishing excursions are full or half day adventures aboard the "Sunny Mañana" our
spacious and comfortable pontoon boat.  We provide everything you need for a fun day
on the water.  Our trips include:

•        use of rods and tackle
•        a cooler with ice
•        experienced guides
•        transportation to boat launch area, if needed

During the winter months we offer ice fishing trips.  You can fish the deep waters of
Whiteswan Lake or cozy up in one of our fishing huts on Lake Windermere.

•        transportation, if needed

Lake Windermere

Located off the town of Invermere BC, Lake Windermere is a great lake for a day of
fishing.  Lake Windermere offers the widest variety of game fish in our selection of
excursions.  You can catch rainbow or cutthroat trout, char, kokanee, mountain whitefish,
northern pikeminnows, and burbot.  Lake Windermere is also one of the few lakes
where bass fishing is allowed in this region.  Explore this vast lake in search of
breathtaking views or for that elusive big bass.

Columbia Lake

This beautiful turquoise lake is 45 minutes south of Invermere, BC and is the source of
the mighty Columbia River.  Columbia Lake features less boat traffic than other lakes,
making it an even more relaxing fishing location.  Fish species include rainbow and
cutthroat trout, char, mountain whitefish, burbot, kokanee, and of course northern
pikeminnows.  Being one of the warmest lakes in the East Kootenay, Columbia Lake
offers a nice chance for a swim.  Bring your bathing suit and change in our on board
changing room.

Columbia River

Experience the Columbia River by foot or by boat.

Our half day package features 6 hours of hiking along the shores of the Columbia River.
As you hike along the river banks you will have a chance to catch a variety of fish species
similar to that of Lake Windermere.  Our guides will take you to specific areas, known to
catch the best fish.

Our full day package features 8 hours of touring and fishing the Columbia Valley
Wetlands via our fleet of Jon Boats.  Experience even more of the Columbia River while
taking in the scenic views and wildlife.

Whiteswan Lake   

Whiteswan Lake is the highlight of the beautiful Whiteswan Lake Provincial Park and is
by far the most scenic lake in our line-up of excursions.  It features breathtaking views of
the Rocky Mountains and the chance to see a variety of wildlife.  Bald eagles nest and
fish along the shores.  Moose are seen feeding in the shallows at the southwest end of
the lake.  You might even see a black bear traveling along the trail on the west shore.
Enjoy spending the day fishing for trophy rainbow trout.  Located 90 minutes from
Invermere, BC.   Whiteswan Lake is the furthest away but well worth the drive.

Our fishing expeditions are overnight camping trips down the mighty Columbia River.
Spend the days traversing the Columbia from our Jon Boats and then spend the nights
in the rugged outdoors. Our guides will provide you with all the necessities  to enjoy a
safe and relaxing fishing adventure in the mighty outdoors.  Days include fishing, touring
the river, and stopping at hot-spots for a chance to catch the days lunch.  Evenings
include a delicious camp supper and relaxing by the crackling fire right on the rivers
edge.  There is nothing like it in the world.

These trips include:

•        use of rods and tackle
•        plenty of beverages
•        all meals including snacks
•        experienced guides
•        transportation
•        use of tents and bedding

Packages available for 1, 2, or 3 nights.
Trips 2 nights or more are recommended for avid outdoors people.
Children under 12 not recommended for overnight river trips.  

All expeditions are tailored to your individual needs and skills.  So don't worry if your
outdoor experience is minimal at best.  We supply everything you need, besides proper
attire and a valid fishing license.  Our goal is for you to have the most relaxing outdoor
adventure ever.  We do the setup, packing, cooking, and planning, while you enjoy the
breathtaking scenery and the rush of catching fish after fish.

What to bring on an expedition:
•        change of clothes for each day plus one extra
•        good shoes or boots
•        warm sweater and appropriate jacket preferably fleece
•        shorts and sandals
•        sunglasses and sunscreen
•        bug spray
•        camera
•        hat
•        reusable water bottle

We will supply you with a waterproof gunny sac to pack your stuff in.  You might want to
bring a backpack to store things for easy reach.  (camera, phone, sunscreen, etc.)
